The Raptors beat the Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals Wednesday night. More importantly, Beyoncé was there. And she made -- wait for it -- an ambiguous face.
During the game, ESPN tweeted a GIF of Bey and Jay-Z sitting courtside. In the clip, the woman to Beyoncé's left leans over Beyoncé to talk to Jay-Z. She does not talk to Beyoncé. Imagine doing that!
Bey does not look particularly pleased during this entire exchange.

After the GIF went up, people assumed immediately that Beyoncé was mad at her rowmate, who turned out to be Nicole Curran. (She's married to Joe Lacob, the Warriors' majority owner.) Some disgruntled members of the Beyhive even spammed Curran's Instagram with bee emoji, prompting her to disable comments entirely.

This was, perhaps, a bit of an overreaction. Sure, Beyoncé did not look happy about the interaction. And no one likes being talked over. But who among us hasn't suffered from a misinterpreted bout of resting bitch face? We have no idea what, if anything, actually went down. (There were rumors Curran was removed from the game after the incident, but those were false.)
After she was spammed with thousands upon thousands of emoji, Curran posted a weird, blurry photo of herself with Bey captioned, "We should all love and support one another." Does this mean everything is fine? We have no idea. But at least we got a nice new Beyoncé reaction GIF out of all this.
