The best Labor Day Apple deals at a glance:
We're seeing some extra-deep discounts across Apple's lineup of devices this Labor Day, likely because it's coinciding with tech retailers' efforts to clear out their inventories in the lead-up to the iPhone 15 event on Sept. 12. This could conceivably be the last big cluster of sales before the holidays start ramping up, so now is a great time to upgrade if you're still hanging onto an older MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, or pair of AirPods.
Keep reading for a list of the absolute best Labor Day Apple deals we've found across the web.
The Apple Store doesn't host its own Labor Day sale, though its Back-to-School sale (its main annual savings event) is still live through Oct. 2 for students and educators. Fortunately, third-party retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart are picking up the slack.
They don't look all that different from their predecessors, but the second-generation AirPods Pro from Sept. 2022 got some welcome under-the-hood improvements in the form of better active noise cancellation, a new Adaptive Transparency mode, and better battery life. (It was enough to earn them a 4.3/5 rating in our review and a top spot on Mashable's best earbuds guide.) Amazon and Best Buy both had them on sale for the record-low prices of $199 and $199.99 (respectively) at the time of writing, which shaves about $50 off their suggested retail price of $249.

A winner of our coveted Mashable's Choice Award, the 2022 iPad Air is "the sweet spot of Apple's tablets," writes Mashable senior editor Stan Schroeder. It combines a "ridiculously powerful" M1 processor with a large display, solid battery life, and an excellent selfie camera with Center Stage. The cellular version throws in 5G support, and 256GB of storage is plenty for all your games, documents, photos, downloaded TV shows, and files.

The 13-inch, M2-powered MacBook Air from mid-2022 earned a 4.5/5 rating in our review (plus a Mashable's Choice Award) for its long battery life, pretty display, superb keyboard, and stellar performance. We think it's the best Apple-made laptop on the market right now, and it happens to be sitting at a new all-time low price for Labor Day weekend: You can snag it on sale at Best Buy for just $899, or $200 off its $1,099 MSRP. That beats its previous record-low at Amazon (where it's currently very low in stock) by a good $50.

Apple's latest wearable packs advanced health features like a built-in ECG (electrocardiogram) app, a blood oxygen sensor, and a body temperature sensor designed to help with fertility tracking. It also comes equipped with a Crash Detection feature that checks in with its wearer before dialing emergency services if it thinks they've been in a severe car accident. (This is all capped off by an all-day battery life and an Always-On display.) The base model with no cellular connectivity and a 41mm band hasn't yet returned to its all-time low Prime Day price of $279.99, but Amazon and Walmart's current price of $309.99 is still a pretty great deal (at almost $90 off).
If you'd prefer a slightly larger band, the 45mm version was on sale for $359 (or $70 off) at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart when we last checked.
