When the stakes are high, this Finnish Olympic snowboarding coach stays cool with a little light, slope-side crafting.
As Yahoo Sports noted (via HuffPost), Antti Koskinen of Finland was spotted knitting this weekend at the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. How pleasant!

Turns out, slope-side knitting is something of a tradition for Koskinen. In 2014, he made similar headlines for knitting a scarf during the Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. As the Wall Street Journalreported at the time, Koskinen and fellow Finland teammates were working on a large scarf to pass along to the Team Finland athletes headed to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro.
Though there's no word yet on the purpose of this year's knitting project, the official Twitter account for Team Finland chimed in to confirm that the coach is indeed back at it.

Team Finland, please send us a scarf.
Update, Wednesday, February 14, 11:35 AM ET: The Finnish Olympic team has since confirmed via Twitter that it's knitting a blanket for President Sauli Niinisto and First Lady Jenni Haukio who gave birth to a baby earlier this month. Cute!
