Pornhub announced today that their site will be reserved exclusively for voters on Election Day, as part of their "Give a F**k, Get a F**k" campaign, a collaboration with creative agency Just for Fun.
With the help of performers like Pornhub Brand Ambassador Asa Akira, Domino Presley, and Natassia Dreams, the tube site also launched a social campaign with videos encouraging people to get out the vote. The tease is, if you don't "give a fuck" you don't "get a fuck."
"Roughly 43 percent of eligible voters — equal to 100 million people — didn't vote in the 2016 U.S presidential election, according to turnout estimates from the U.S. Elections Project," said Pornhub VP Corey Price in a press release. "We want to encourage people to do their civic duty this year by casting their ballot and having their voice heard."
So what does that actually mean? Beginning 10 a.m. ET until 9 p.m. ET on Nov. 3, Pornhub visitors in the United States will be greeted with an overlay page reminding them to vote before entering the site. It's dubious at best how this will "get out the vote," as users can just lie, but at least like every celebrity and brand out there, Pornhub is putting in some work to help democracy prevail this election.
